20 gallons of paint in Brooklyn.
Last winter I was invited to collaborate with 2 New York artists for one day on a massive 50 foot canvas. It was a really interesting process since I had never met the other 2 artists, but we pulled it off and had a blast. The project was recorded and turned into a time-lapse film. Graphic design in the news.
Graphic design is often a behind the scenes business. Rarely does anyone from outside of this industry learn about the team that concieved and executed. That is until over 100,000 people despise it. Then it's hot news! There's a very heated debate going on over the new 2012 London Olympics identity mark, lots of haters. Very entertaining. Article and 2012 site. Personally, I've always gauged the success of a design by its seizure inducing potential. As you can see here.

New logo jams.
Two new websites that celebrate creativity are in need of new logos, so I couldn't resist. The first is Topcreatives.com, a design community based in New York.
